It is extracted from borage plant seeds and it is a natural source of these fatty acids.

Borage 

Borage, also known as "cucumber herb" or dill, is a plant from the family of borage plants. It originates from the Mediterranean region. It was not until the late Middle Ages, that the plant came to Central Europe, where it first had been used in naturopathy. The flowers, the leaves, as well as the oil won from the seeds are being applied in naturopathy. Borage has the highest content of gamma-linolenic acid among all herbs. In addition, the borage plant contains bornesite, allantion, tannins and silicic acid.

Active ingredients

One capsule contains 500 mg borage oil with 24 % gamma-linolenic acid, 12 mg Vitamin E rather a daily portion of 2 capsules contains 1000 mg borage oil and 24 mg Vitamin E. Borage oil capsules are vegetarian. 

Recommended dosage

The recommended daily amount is a maximum of two capsules. Take them unchewed during a meal with a beverage of your choice.
