- Developed for babies
- Three special lactic acid bacterial cultures
- With galactooligosaccharides (GOS)
Curabiom® Baby is a product specially developed for babies and pregnant women. It contains a combination of special strains of lactic acid bacterial cultures (Bifidobacterium infantis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus) and GOS galactooligosaccharides). Galacto-oligosaccharides are obtained from lactose and therefore very much resemble galacto-oligosaccharides which are present in breast milk.
Developed for babies and pregnant women
Giving lactobacilli can be useful even for babies – particularly if they are not breast-fed and/or were born by c-section. So Dr. Wolz specially developed Curabiom® Baby for babies, although pregnant women also benefit from the ingredients. The three special strains of
lactic acid bacterial cultures (Bifi dobacterium infantis, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus rhamnosus) were selected on the basis of current studies. They are natural lactic acid cultures, which were originally sourced from breast milk.
The galacto-oligosaccharide (GOS) constituents are fibres consisting of polysaccharides. They reach the large intestine undigested where they are used by the intestinal bacteria as food. Scientifi c studies have shown that in babies that were not breast-fed normal intestinal flora dominated by Bifi dus bacteria and lactobacilli forms if the babies were given infant formula with GOS. The GOS are more similar to the galactooligosaccharides, present in breast milk, than the plant-based fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) which do not occur in breast milk at all
Galacto-oligosaccharide preparation (GOS) consisting of lactose 95%, live lactic acid bacteria (Bifidobacterium infantis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus) 5%
