Although our Curcumin Extract 45 is exceptionally well-tolerated, there are certain situations and groups of people for whom use should be avoided or discussed with a doctor beforehand:

• People with biliary tract disorders: Curcumin naturally stimulates bile flow. Therefore, the product should not be taken if you have gallstones, a blockage of the bile ducts, or acute liver disease. 
•  Pregnant and breastfeeding women: Since there is insufficient clinical trial data on the use of high-dose curcumin extracts during these sensitive life stages, pregnant and breastfeeding women are advised not to take this product as a precaution.
• Children and adolescents: This product is formulated for adult needs and is not intended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
