Recommended intake:

For children from 4 years up to 6 years, take 2 measuring spoons/ day, children aged 7 and older and adults, take 3 measuring spoons/day. Stir into a beverage or, for example, yoghurt. Tasteless. For adults, the recommended dosage is 3 measuring spoons daily.

How do the sensitive bifidobacteria survive the acidic environment of the stomach?

The bacterial strain Bifidobacterium longum contained in KinderImmun* is naturally characterised by a particularly high resistance to stomach and bile acids. Unlike many other sensitive lactic acid bacteria, this specific strain has a robust cell wall structure that withstands the aggressive stomach acid. As a result, the cultures survive passage through the stomach largely unscathed and arrive alive and active in the large intestine, where they fulfil their function.
