Premium Immune Support from First Milk
Dr. Wolz Colostrum is a concentrate of the best and most valuable ingredients found in the first milk of pasture-raised cows. The plant-based cellulose capsules are resistant to stomach acid and deliver the valuable ingredients intact to the intestine, where they can be fully absorbed. Colostrum Immun + Folic Acid from Dr. Wolz is derived from the first milk of New Zealand pasture-raised cows. Colostral milk from New Zealand is considered one of the highest-quality sources in the world. After most of the fat has been removed, the immune proteins are concentrated and gently dried.
So why does Dr. Wolz only use colostrum from New Zealand?
As mentioned before, New Zealand's colostrum has one of the best qualities available in the world. This is due to the following reasons:
- Absence of epidemics: New Zealand has never had a single case of foot-and-mouth disease.
- All-year grazing: constant nutrition of fresh grass causes the cows to form a broad spectrum of antibodies.
- The use of antibiotics and hormones on cows is prohibited in New Zealand.
- All production steps are controlled by New Zealand's supervisory authorities.
What is Colostrum?
Colostrum is the name given to the first milk of all mammals. It is produced in the mother's mammary glands in order to optimally feed the newborn. After three to five days, the colostrum changes to normal milk. Colostrum has been underestimated for a long time. However, the latest studies show its great importance. Colostrum is a unique combination of a large number of bioactive substances and antibodies, the so-called immunoglobulins. The colostrum milk of the cow contains immune substances in a concentration 40 times higher than the natural human colostrum. Therefore, Colostrum contains a large number of valuable components.
1 Folic acid contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
2 Folic acid helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.
3 Folic acid contributes to a normal psychological function.
4 Folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Colostrum Immun + Folic Acid¹ by Dr. Wolz is a premium concentrate specifically developed to support the immune system and reduce fatigue and exhaustion.¹, It combines the valuable, native ingredients of colostrum with essential folic acid (vitamin B9). The supplement is ideal for periods of increased physical or mental stress, during changes in weather, and for people who want to specifically support their immune system in a natural way.
The colostrum used in Colostrum Immun + Folic Acid¹ comes exclusively from New Zealand. This deliberate choice of origin ensures a level of product quality that is virtually impossible to achieve under conventional conditions:
- Year-round grazing: In New Zealand, thanks to the mild climate, cows graze on lush, green pastures 365 days a year and feed on fresh grass. This results in exceptionally high-quality, nutrient-rich colostrum that differs significantly from the colostrum of barn-raised cattle fed an intensive grain diet.
- Strict legal purity standards: New Zealand has the world’s strictest regulations for animal husbandry. The routine use of antibiotics, artificial growth hormones, or performance-enhancing hormones is strictly prohibited by law there. This ensures an absolutely pure and uncontaminated natural product.
- Animal welfare first: It is guaranteed that only the surplus from the first two milkings (within the first 24 hours after calving) is used. The optimal and priority care of the newborn calf always has absolute priority, both legally and ethically—only after that is the surplus colostrum collected for Dr. Wolz.
Colostrum owes its unique biological properties to a high proportion of native protein structures, particularly valuable immunoglobulins (such as IgG). These protein compounds are extremely sensitive to acid and digestive enzymes.
If colostrum were taken in a conventional capsule, it would dissolve in the stomach. The aggressive stomach acid and the protein-digesting enzyme pepsin active there would immediately denature (destroy) the sensitive immunoglobulins and digest them like normal dietary protein.
The enteric-coated capsule shell reliably protects the colostrum powder from the acidic environment of the stomach. It passes through the stomach unharmed and only opens upon entering the small intestine. There, the pH is neutral, allowing the valuable immunoglobulins to be released intact and optimally utilized by the intestines.
- Lactose intolerance: Yes, the product is generally very well tolerated, even by people with severe lactose intolerance. A daily serving (5 capsules) contains only about 95 mg of lactose (which corresponds to about 7 to 8% of the colostrum concentrate). To put this into perspective: This minimal amount is comparable to the lactose content of just 2 grams of regular cow’s milk (about 40 drops). Since the individual tolerance threshold for lactose intolerance is usually several grams of lactose, Colostrum Immun + Folic Acid1 is, in practice, very well tolerated.
- Milk protein allergy: No. Please do not confuse lactose intolerance with a true milk protein allergy. Since this is a pure natural product made from a cow’s first milk, it contains all the native milk proteins (such as casein and whey protein). Therefore, if you have been diagnosed with a cow’s milk allergy, you must not consume this product.
