Fresh Tomatoes vs. WSTC
Fresh tomatoes are healthy, rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber—and are undoubtedly part of a balanced diet. However, the specific compounds found in tomato concentrate (WSTC) are present in fresh tomatoes only in very low concentrations and can be further lost through cooking or storage.
So, if you specifically want to support normal platelet aggregation, consuming large quantities of fresh tomatoes will not achieve the same results as taking a standardized concentrate. Additionally, a capsule provides a consistent, scientifically tested dosage, making it a practical supplement—especially for people with increased needs, such as frequent travelers or those with a sedentary lifestyle.

The standardized tomato concentrate WSTC contains plant-based micronutrients that, according to scientific studies, are known to naturally support normal platelet function.*
These platelets are crucial for blood clotting—they can aggregate when needed, such as during an injury, or circulate freely and smoothly through the blood vessels. WSTC supports precisely this natural state of circulation. This is achieved through the phytochemicals contained in WSTC, which act on platelet receptors and support their normal function.*
Due to its properties, the tomato concentrate WSTC is considered a type of plant-based blood thinner. The effect sets in about 1 to 1.5 hours after ingestion and remains stable for approximately 24 hours—without the risks associated with conventional blood thinners.
